I build AWS infrastructure ahead of your scale and keep it boring.

A decade of production AWS across five companies and four compliance regimes. At Protectwise I administered $10M+ a year of it behind a security product ingesting petabytes, and the product teams never had to ask whether the backing systems would hold.

Scale, compliance, and platforms other teams build on.

$10M+/yr
of production AWS

At Protectwise, acquired by Verizon, I administered the AWS environment behind a petabyte-scale ingestion platform. Thousands of Cassandra nodes, petabytes in S3, and every piece of it managed as infrastructure as code.

4 regimes
HIPAA · PCI · SOC 2 · ISO 27001

HIPAA-compliant patient-care infrastructure at Inception Health, a PCI-compliant payments installation at Cardfree, and a multi-account model at Cloaked that met SOC 2, ISO 27001, and ISO 27701 requirements. Auditors have signed off on my architecture in three different industries.

CDK
as a paved road for other teams

At Inception Health I designed the CDK patterns that application teams consumed to ship HIPAA-compliant microservices themselves, collaborated directly with AWS partner teams, and trained the product and mobile teams until they ran their own deploys.

30x
faster deploys after the EKS migration

At Cloaked I led the move from a legacy PaaS onto AWS EKS. The new platform was cheaper, more scalable, and paired with a GitOps pipeline that accelerated deployments 30x in my first 6 months.

My first 90 days in your account

1 · Read the bill with the architecture

Cost and design problems are usually the same problem. I find where the account fights your growth instead of absorbing it.

2 · Put everything that moves in code

Terraform or CDK, whichever fits your team, until a fresh environment is a pull request instead of a project.

3 · Make compliance a platform property

Account boundaries and controls built in from the start, so the audit is evidence collection rather than a fire drill.
